sit，on是及物動詞還是不及物動詞

及物動詞，任何不及物動詞加上介詞就相當於及物動詞

“不及物動詞 + 介詞”結構：介詞起中介作用，把這個不及物動詞跟一個名詞或代詞連線起來。例如：sit on the chair——不及物動詞sit，無法直接跟the chair，這時加上介詞on，讓它起中介作用，使它們連線起來。

sit 是不及物動詞，它不能跟賓語。如果要跟賓語，需要藉助於介詞，如sit on the chair。

sit 後面也可以跟副詞，sit down“坐下”。【down 是副詞，表示動作的方向】

sit的固定搭配:

1、sit on強調坐在某物上面，是接觸性的。

如：sit on the grass 坐在草地上

2、sit at強調坐在某物旁邊，是範圍性的。

如：The shorter children are to sit at the front. 個子矮的孩子坐在前邊。

3、sit in強調坐某物裡面，是被包含住的。

如：sit in the grass 坐在草叢裡
