1. like 的基本用法

①介詞: 像…(一樣)，似…(一樣)

The tall treestands by the gate， like a soldier guarding the schoolyard.

這棵屹立在門口的高大的樹，像士兵一樣保衛著我們的學校。

She's wearing a dress like mine.

她穿的連衣裙和我的相似。

He ran like the wind(= very fast) .

他跑得飛快。

You do it like this.

2.介詞like 的其它用法

①與系動詞be， look， sound連用

be like 像……跟……一樣

look like 看起來像……

sound like 聽起來像……

What is he like? 他是怎麼樣的一個人

It looks like rain. 好像要下雨了。

The little girl looks like her father.

那個小姑娘看起來像她的父親。

He sounds like a good father.

他聽起來像個好父親。

② feel like後接Ving形式、代詞或名詞，意為"想要做某事"。如：

Do you feel like having a rest?

你想休息嗎

We'll go for a walk if you feel like it.

如果你想散步，我們就去吧。

③句式: It is ( just ) like sb to do ... 就是這個樣子，符合某人的特點，這正是...的一貫做法。

It was just like him to leave the work to us.

這很像他的風格，把工作留給我們做。

It`s just like her to think others before thinking of herself.

這很像她，考慮自己之前，先考慮別人。

3. like 的其它用法

like還可做動詞，名詞等

①like做動詞，意思是“喜歡”，可跟名詞，代詞，不定式或動名詞。如：

She likes children.

她喜歡孩子。

All of us liked her very much.

我們大家都很喜歡她。

I like to visit him as often as possible.

我喜歡儘可能多地去拜訪他。

He likes getting up early.

他喜歡早起。

I would like to have a word with you.

我想同你說句話。

② like做名詞，意思是“喜好，愛好，類似的人(或物)，種類，型別 ”

We all have different likes and dislikes .

我們各有不同的好惡。

jazz， rock and the like (= similar types ofmusic) 

爵士樂、搖滾樂以及諸如此類的音樂

You're not comparing like with like.

like作為介詞 意思是像...一樣，它的反義詞是unlike 不像...一樣。
