十九世紀簡寫

1、19世紀中文沒有簡寫，“19世紀”英文表述可以簡寫成19c（世紀英語單詞century簡寫c）

2、與“世紀”常用的連續表達是加上年代，這樣經常用簡寫表示，如19世紀70年代 ，簡寫成1870’s。

3、世紀的英文用法

century前需用序數詞，並加定冠詞the同理“十九世紀五十年代”應說the fifties of the nineteenth century。

this century或the century指“本世紀” last century指“上個世紀” the last century指“過去的一百年” next century指“下個世紀” the next century指“以後的一百年”，有時也指“下個世紀”。

century的其他搭配：

(1) ury to ury 從…世紀至…世紀。

(2) ury 在…世紀。

(3)〔through〕 the centuries 經過若干世紀。
