结果状语从句就是表示结果的状语从句。常见的引导词有：...， ...

三、用法:

1、so，so that，that引导的结果状语从句

She is so young that she can't go to school.她太小而不能上学。

He got up late，so he was late.他起床晚了，结果他迟到了。

What has happened that all of them look worried?发生了什么事儿，以至于所有人都看起来如此担心

2、so…that，such…that引导的结果状语从句

so是副词，后面跟形容词或副词。

such是形容词，后面跟名词或名词短语。

当名词被表数量的many，much，few，little修饰时要用so。

such+a/an+形容词+名=so+形容词+a/an+名词

so…that与 such…that之间的转换即为 so与such之间的转换。

She is so young that she can't go to school.（...）

=She is such a young girl that she can't go to school.（...）

=She is too young to go to school.（...）

=She is not old enough to go to school.（not old enough to...）

她太小而不能上学。
