different和the，different的區別

different 是形容詞，意思是 “不同的”

the different 是不正確的，different 是不能作為名詞使用的，正確的說法應該是 the difference

如果 the 後接 different，那麼 different 後一定要有個名詞

舉例一：

We were quite different in outlook， Philip and I.

我和菲利普的世界觀截然不同。

舉例二：

That's how it was in my day and I fail to see why it should be different now.

我那時候就是這樣的，我搞不懂為什麼現在非要弄得不一樣。

舉例三：

The difference this time is that its cars are winning individual awards for superiority.

但不同的是，這一次它們的車型贏得了特別優勝單項獎。

舉例四：

Everybody noticed and applauded the difference， and the show activities ran more smoothly.

人們都注意到了這一點，而且都很高興，車展活動也進行得更加順暢
