專有地點名詞前用介詞on嗎

on (常用作時間介詞)在用作地點介詞的時候，一般指的是“在...上面”. 常用的有:on the farm/ground/floorplayground等.

英語地名名詞前面用on， 後面沒有the

如：on fifth avenue 

一般講，專有名詞前不用the. 也就是說，人名、地名、國家名、組織名等的前面都不加the.

如:China， Britain. 可是，非專有名詞構成的地名、國家名、組織名的前面要加the. 

如:中華人民共和國The People's Republic of China 大不列顛及北愛爾蘭聯合王國The United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland 再如:on campus， on the playground都用on，on Pacific Avenue，on Mulbury Drive

一般來說，in/at 用作地點介詞的時候的in 後加大地方(有時候也可以用在小的地點前)，at後加小地方.

如:in China， in the school， at school， at the school gate，等.這種區分也會在片語中體現出來: arrive in + 大地方的地點.

如:arrive in Shenzhen. arrive at + 小地方的地點.如:arrive at school.
