as if 接將來虛擬語氣的例子

As if，表示與將來相反的虛擬語氣，後面會用would /should/ could/ might+動詞原形，舉例如下:

The man looked worried as if something would happen to him.

He opened his mouth as if he would say something.

I have been working for hours， yet it still looks as if it could reach out and touch it.

特別注意:並非所有 As if從句都要用虛擬語氣。從句所表示的內容，若爲事實或可能爲事實，就用真實語氣。

It looks as if it is going to snow.
