alarge amount of修飾可數還是不可數

a large amount of修飾不可數名詞 作主語時，謂語動詞用單數，但是large amounts of修飾不可數名詞作主語時，謂語動詞用複數，例如：

A large amount of food has been transported to the natural disater-hit area.大量的食品已經被運往遭受自然災害的地區了（本句中，a large amount of後面接了不可數名詞food，謂語動詞用了單數has ）

Large amounts of money are donated to the village schools every year.每年有大比資金捐贈給鄉村的學校(本句中，large amounts of後面接了不可數名詞money，謂語動詞用了複數are)

a large amount of修飾不可數名詞(且是無生命的名詞）。a large amount of“許多，大量”的意思。

amount的用法

1：amount用於表示“量”“額”，如重量、金額等。

2：amount of後一般接不可數名詞，有時也可接複數可數名詞，此名詞被視為某一“總量”或“綜述”。

3：短語in the amount of(總共為)可以of或for代之to the amount(總共達)可以to代之。但如接款項數字大的總數，一般用in〔to〕the amount of。

4：amount用作動詞的基本意思是“合計，共計”，引申可指“等同，接近”。
